Testo Torches - Track Commentary - Daughtry

Testo della canzone Torches - Track Commentary (Daughtry), tratta dall'album It's Not Over....The Hits So Far (Track by Track Commentary)

We've started working on, uh, new music

Uhm, gearing up for, for this record

And, and writing for, uhm, our fifth album

And I was working with Dave Bassett

And it just, we were talking about, uhm

Different things, and, and he started playing a

A chord progression that felt very moving and real

And it just, it felt like it had to be inspiring

Uhm, and so, I just felt like

With all the negativity that's going on in the world

You know, there, there needs to be some kind of light

And some kind of, uhm

A-as much as hate and, and, and, uh

Negativity can spread like wildfire

I feel like the same could happen

For kindness, and love and, and positivity, and

And I just felt like this song called for that

That message, and I also think that

This world calls for that
