Welcome to the Showcase Noir. It's your
Boy JPJ aka Jerome Hyrule Johnson
And this is just an intro. Just a basic intro. I'm going to
Introduce y'all to the younger version of me back when I was like 17
It's my songs from 17 up to maybe like 21
I made most of these songs in Hampton, Virginia
When I was in college
And of course I made some in Compton, California
But I feel like I wanted to finally release an album
Of everything that I've done in the past
The good thing about this though is
I had some issues with a few distributors
So I didn't know when to put out this album
Because this is technically my first album ever made
So what I decided to do is just put this out first
Under a new distribution company
So yeah it might seem like it my newest album but it not This
Is a very very old album because it has a lot of old music
I put a few new tracks here and there on here um just to
Keep it a little updated updated a few other sounds so for
Everybody in dsmg who was one of these songs before
If it sounds a little updated it's because i did
That but also i wanted to dedicate this album to
One of my brothers my best friends that i lost
In 2020 DMP one of the founding members of DSMG
And I miss him almost every day but I just wanted
To give him some love I didn't get a chance to go
To the funeral I didn't get a chance to say goodbye
To him and it breaks my heart I wasn't there in his
Last days I wanted to dedicate this album to him
So I got a few of the team to say some eulogy type words to him
And also I'm going to release a few songs
That we all made together in the group
And then there's a few songs and words I have
From him that I'm putting on his album too
But yeah, that's what this is about
I appreciate you all for coming out and listening

To this intro, but that's what it is

To let y'all know what I did
After this, I'm going to be working on my next album
