Testo Most - MOST

Testo della canzone Most (MOST), tratta dall'album Overload

Yeah, yeah
Alright
Music Of Simpler Times
Yeah, yeah
Alright
Music Of Simpler Times
Feel like I always kill it on the beat
With the piano
Little bit of the boom-bap drums in there
So let's do it again
Ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, ok
Back on my Blue Jay, Cardinal
Look how far I've come
That was the test run
Now the test has begun
Thanks a bunch
Now I got a ton of weight on my shoulders
Now that I'm older hate is a boulder
And it's rolling all over
Holding on to everything I got
It's all happening faster than I imagined it
Mastering this aggregate is work no magic trick
I've had it with this immaculate, asterisk
Music from the average kid
What happened to the music that would slap and hit
Setting the scene for a dramatic tragedy
Got a backlit stage with the dopest menagerie
The heroic is out of me
I'm floating emphatically
The emotions surrounding me
Choking as these words are pouring out of me
Do you hear the sounds as loud as me
Don't be afraid to say your proud of me
It's nice to reminisce but life only exists in the present
Cherish this moment or you'll soon forget it
Time may slow and hold
But it'll never go backwards
Life on the stage I'm just chilling in the rafters
Trying to avoid disaster
Want a life filled with laughter
But that skill is becoming harder to master
After I make it I'm just hoping they'll be changes
I know that's overrated but I know that I can make it
Music Of Simpler Times
I used to want
The life, the cars
The fame, the stars
Make some bars, create this art
Now all I really wanna do is help you
Help you, help you, help you
I used to bump it and love it
Now that I won it, it's a little redundant
Am I really loving this
Does it follow the theory
I'm weary if you can hear me or not
It's gotta be perfect
The words and the verses
The meters are peaking
I'm losing this feeling
I sure do miss
All of those simpler times
The life, the cars
The fame, the stars
Make some bars, create this art
