Testo Kingdom Things - Matthew West
Testo della canzone Kingdom Things (Matthew West), tratta dall'album My Story Your Glory
The world turns and the battle rages
I look around and I find my faith is
Anchored down in the King James pages
And it's not leaving
Heavy is the load, I'm hauling
Tall are the walls not falling
But still is the voice that's calling
Look up and see 'em
Kingdom things
I lift my eyes and rest my mind on kingdom things
Nothing on this Earth could ever steal the sting
This world brings like kingdom things
I read the words in black and red and
Try to live this life I'm living
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Oh, but it's not easy
The enemy gets me surrounded
Gravity keeps my hope grounded
But not for long 'cause You reach down
And You hold me just like You hold all Your
Kingdom things
I lift my eyes and rest my mind on kingdom things
Nothing on this Earth could ever steal this thing
This world brings like kingdom things
Where crowns and grace and praise replace the suffering
And the pain is gone and the joy's beyond imagining
And You redeem all Your kingdom things
Thank You, Jesus
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh
I am reminded in my trials
This world is not my home and never will be
And I am reminded in my trials
That nothing here I own will fulfill me
Like kingdom things
I lift my eyes and rest my mind on kingdom things
Nothing on this earth could ever steal this thing
This world brings like kingdom things
Where crowns and grace and praise replace the suffering
And the pain is gone and the joy's beyond imagining
And You redeem all Your kingdom things
