Testo I Remember - Bret Michaels
Testo della canzone I Remember (Bret Michaels), tratta dall'album Songs of Life
Gimme some guitar
Kickin' it up a bit
I remember when I was just a kid
Doctor told me I got a disease that's gonna keep me sick
Sometimes I get so damn depressed
I didn't feel like gettin' myself dressed
But when I turn my radio on
And I hear my favorite song
I said
Play me good time music
Help to get me through my day
Play me good time music
Songs that take me, won't you take me far away
I remember I got my first guitar
I told everybody I's gonna be a rock and roll star
The first time I got my heart broke
I remember the feelin' I got in my throat
I felt like dyin' that night
Seemed like the radio saved my life
I said
Play me good time music
Help to get me through my day
Play me good time music
Songs that take me, won't you take me far away
We were drivin' by the light of the moon
Makin' love to our favorite tunes
The best days I ever spent were the nights with you
We didn't have a penny
And not a care in the world
I'll be your man, you'll be my girl
Such simple times in a complex world
Play me good time music
Help to get me through my day
Play me good time music
Songs that take me, won't you take me far away
Play me good time music
Help to get me through my day
Play me good time music
Songs that take me, won't you take me far away
