In Isaiah 63:9, it says

Whenever I read this verse, I think about

The lifestyle that I used to live

Uh, whenever the Lord was pursuing me and I was constantly saying no

And wanting to do my own thing

He had been carrying me the whole entire time

I just had no idea that He was

And there were a lot of mistakes that I would make

That easily could disqualify me

But I'm so glad that God doesn't take record of our wrongs

Instead He picks our head up

And He tells us to keep moving forward and to look at Him

And no matter what, He's never gonna let us go

And He's always gonna have open arms for us

Whenever we're ready to turn towards Him

And I've been searching for a home

And all my life I felt alone

But now You showed me I have a home

And all I know is You'll never let me go
