Testo Holding Hands - Bongwater
Testo della canzone Holding Hands (Bongwater), tratta dall'album The Big Sell-Out
We've run down the hill in the Eastern European countryside. It's
Spring! We go into what used to be a church but is now a theatre
Built into the hill. Three, count them, three Nazis are on stage
To create a new tableau vivant. One is standing, another is on a
Motorcycle, and the third is in the sidecar. They are all dressed
In full Nazi regalia. Very stylish and handsome. They point at
Their rulers and shoot at their targets on the left. Cut to the
Film portion of our show, which shows what it is the Nazis are
Shooting at. It is whatever is left of a human stuck in a drainpipe
That is overflowing murky water into a pond. Bullets are shooting
Out of the bloody stump that sticks out of the pipe, at least
That's what I think it is. It looks like ground brown for an old
Pizza. There's a last-ditch attempt to fight the Nazis but it fails
The wedding that had been taking place outside is no more. All that
Is left of the bride and groom are their severed hands, clutching
One another with these things that they love that will never die
