Testo Heavy Load - Chezidek

Testo della canzone Heavy Load (Chezidek), tratta dall'album Firm up Yourself

Ahh, it's a long-long journey
Mighty-mighty struggle
Rocky-rocky road, yeah
Working overtime in Jamaica sunshine
For little more than a dime in Jamaica sunshine
And when you get your pay
Still have fi join the long line
Waan see the boss, the boss you can't find
'Peppa message say, "Check him another time"
Oh, it is a rocky road (Rocky road)
Babylon is a heavy load (Heavy load)
I see the people trying, trying
Things they got to do to survive (Oh, oh)
Nothing never set from morning
Nothing can set, so a evening
Politics come, dem believe him
Religion come and deceive him
Pressure dem bad 'cause a living
Bare hand to mouth and squeezing
Nothing me say nothing fi the nation building
Oh, it is a heavy load (Heavy load)
Babylon is a rocky road (Rocky road)
I see the people trying, trying
Things they got to do to survive (Oh-oh)
School fee can't find, enuh
Hospital bill, it is a crime, enuh
Bus fare a lunch money every time, enuh
Gas price no stop climb, enuh
It look like the people are blind
They don't know which way they are going
Mi haffi bun a fire pon Babylon system, woii
For it is a heavy load (Heavy load)
Babylon is a rocky road (Rocky road)
I see the people trying, trying
Things they got to do to survive (Oh-oh)
Working overtime in Jamaica sunshine
Even without food, we a do it sometime
And when you get your pay
Still have fi join the long line
Waan see the boss, the boss you can't find
'Peppa message say, "Check him another time"
Babylon is a heavy load (Heavy load)
Babylon is a rocky road (Rocky road)
I see the people trying, trying
Things they got to do to survive (Oh-oh)
Oh, it is a heavy load
Oh, it is a rocky road (Rocky road)
I hear the children crying, crying
Things they got to do to survive (Oh-oh)
Oh, it's such a rocky road (Rocky road)
