Testo He That Keepeth - Mikey General

Testo della canzone He That Keepeth (Mikey General), tratta dall'album Red, Green & Gold

Great is the name of the Most High God
He will bless you in abundance
Woah, yeah yeah
Well, mmm
In my calamity
When there was no one for me
Jah was there to give me strength
When there was no hope
And I could not cope
He gave me confidence
Now I know He lives forever
Praises I shall give
He is my rock and my sustainer
Through His grace I live
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
Don't let them get you down
For Jah will find a way
And you will wear a crown
If you trust and obey (Trust and obey)
He a contrite heart and a broken spirit
Jah will hear your voice
He'll never refuse it
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
Yeah
Let us glorify the name of the Most High living God
He's our rock and our sustainer
Our deliverer
Our ever-present help in the time of trouble
Ah, ah
Woah, yeah
Fret not they self for evildoers (They can't conquer us)
Very soon you'll see them fall
Just remember the Most High (Watching over us)
On Jah name you should call, ay
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never slumber or sleep
Oh He guide and He keep
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumber or sleep
Never sleep, no, no
He's always watching, yeah
The eye of the Lord is on the righteous
To direct him in all his path
The eye of the Lord is on the righteous
Never lead him on the road of wrath, no
He that keepeth Israel
Never slumbers or sleeps
