Testo For A While - Ak-Slim

Testo della canzone For A While (Ak-Slim), tratta dall'album For A While

I remember days I was down
I was down
I remember days I was down
I still got up fast
Lately life's been strange but I'm proud
Mama got my back
I was on the range for a while
I still dropped my tracks
And I ain't even playing around
Yeah I'm really back
Back
I'm in my city I'm out
She said she heard bout me on tv
She still figuring it out
We got this out the mud
They was showing no love
They rather see us in a cell don't wanna see when we up
That's why I can't trust nobody I can't even trust my day ones
She just came around she seen my numbers
How I came up
Told me you was down I see how quick these people change up
Turn them to a stranger
Lifestyle way to dangerous
I remember days I was down
I still got up fast
Lately life's been strange but I'm proud
Mama got my back
I was on the range for a while
I still dropped my tracks
And I ain't even playing around
Yeah I'm really back
They started asking how the fuck we made it happen
They was slacking
Now they mad that my team ain't slacking
Before this rap shit
I was caught up ain't going back in
Put my fam through so much shit
Like my first cheque they gotta have it
We was some youngins
Tryna play ball
When shit gets crazy where's your main dawgs
How could I switch up for the fame
I lost my bro it ain't the same now
Came from the mud we living lavish
My momma need
She gotta have it
I remember days I was down
I still got up fast
Lately life's been strange but I'm proud
Mama got my back
I was on the range for a while
I still dropped my tracks
And I ain't even playing around
Yeah I'm really back
I remember days I was down
I still got up fast
Lately life's been strange but I'm proud
Mama got my back
I was on the range for a while
I still dropped my tracks
And I ain't even playing around
Yeah I'm really back
