Testo Eye Remember - Funky DL
Testo della canzone Eye Remember (Funky DL), tratta dall'album Classic Was the Day
One two, what's up y'all?
What's up, what's up?
Well yo, what's up y'all?
We gonna groove this, yo
How D-L gonna move this
Ayo, my name's the k-k-Konsist
Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo
Yo, I gots my lyrics and my lyrics is dope
Doin' this forever and it ain't no joke
Keepin' it simple and sweet on the beat
On the beat we livin' this
Yo, I remember, yo, I remember
I remember, yeah, yeah, yo, yo
I remember when I was a little kid
Always copying what my big brother did
I remember having no money to spend
I remember when Stephen was my best friend
I remember way back trying to rock it
I remember taking money from my teacher's pocket
I remember thinking it was so easy
That's until them two girls told on me
I remember sharing no cash with the others
I remember when Stick's had no brothers
Now he got two and I got two
I remember when I had my own little crew
I remember when nobody heard of Biggie
We say scratch, Vic says iggy-iggy
I remember when we used to go and check Torch
First time I went I kinda got lost
I remember when I had my first contract
That record deal was kind of wack
I remember when I tried my first cigarette
Tasted like shh, I'll never forget
I remember when I wrote my first rhyme
I remember when I got dissed all the time
I remember sitting down writing this song
I remember so much let me go on, on, on
Yeah, I remember, I remember
Yo, I gots my lyrics and my lyrics is dope
Doin' this forever and it ain't no joke
Keepin' it simple and sweet on the beat
On the beat we livin' this
Yo, I remember, I remember, check me out
We gonna bust it one more time for you heads, yo
Bust it one more time for you heads
Tryna represent but you hip-hop feds
Yeah, tryna close this down
Hear the sound, uh, yeah
Yo, I remember, I remember, check it out
Yo, I remember when I was a little kid
Always copying what my big brother did
I remember having no money to spend
I remember when Stephen was my best friend
I remember way back trying to rock it
I remember taking money from my teacher's pocket
I remember thinking it was so easy
That's until them two girls told on me
I remember sharing no cash with the others
I remember when Stick's had no brothers
Now he got two and I got two
I remember when I had my own little crew
I remember when nobody heard of Biggie
We say scratch, Vic says iggy-iggy
I remember when I used to go and check Torch
First time I went I kinda got lost
I remember when I got my first contract
That record deal was kind of wack
I remember when I tried my first cigarette
Tasted like shh, I'll never forget
I remember when I wrote my first rhyme
I remember when I got dissed all the time
I remember sitting down writing this song
I remember so much let me go on, on, on
Yeah, yeah, yo, yo, I remember, yo, I remember
Check it, check it out
Yo, I gots my lyrics and my lyrics is dope
Doin' this forever and it ain't no joke
Keepin' it simple and sweet on the beat
On the beat we livin' this
Yo, I remember, I remember, I remember
A little something nice and simple and sweet
Keepin' it simple on the beat
I remember, yo, yo
Keepin' it freaky-deaky y'all, y'all
Like I said, we gonna groove this, move this
The name is the Konsist, Funky DL
Everybody try to test this, mess this, stress this
The microphone's here so let me bless this, yo, yo
