and it's like
this
i learned to flow from who? Lao Tsu
you take the coda back to Yoda
"no try, only do"
my hand flies to the mic
like a love that's true
born to be (right) here (right) now (right?)
aint nothing new
bout the Wei-wu-wei
that's how we say
the action of non-action
act your part like a play
don't work it like a job or even strive for the goal
you might laugh or cry or grasp illusion of control
but see through it, you once knew it: all comes from Grace
even if you want your choices you can't choose the time and place
renounce the results there's other runners in the race
forget about the answer, sit in silence, take a taste
the infinite avalanche of various factors
make up the whole story in which we're only actors
we practice and relinquish the results as all are topical
the highest aim be water simply flow around the obstacles
the effortless next quest to be right here
stop and stare in the headlights like a deer
and there's no fear
no other faces to revere
nor other places to reveal
only spaces you can feel
you be fully in position for omission of volition
a taste of this condition gets you wishing for transition
but your focus on the finish let the finest out your grasp
you got strung up when you got hung up on the future and the past
that desired destination just got blurred up out your lens
be at work and on vacation, stop scheming on them ends
be the means beyond the schemes savor every little second
when you think you've got it
that's the time you've wrecked it
it's grist for the mill
the Gita says to mash it
a step is never wasted dropping fruits from the actions
so many seekers scurry 'round scouting out the loot
be better served to just observe giving up the fruits
feel the fruit
Ummmmm Drop
(Lord Large dope solo)
how're ya living Dyllie B?
on beaches, in forests
'send the ends, cleanse the lens and it feels euphoric
i implore wit and employ the wisdom
need no more shhh to enjoy the kingdom
i implode and erode the whole dang load
Brighton up and lighten up and get back on the road
so much sold and bought, so much told and taught
so much effort required to slide back to naught
still Dyllie from the block, that is the uncarved
ran the gauntlet of desires and came back unharmed
the truth shook me loose from attachment to my pocket
troubled youth to dropping fruits, i'm living proof of how to rock it
drop the fruit, yo, drop the fruit (what?)
drop the fruit, yo, drop the fruit (huh?)
drop the fruit, there ain't no dispute
we droppin fruit from here to Beirut
drop the fruit yo, drop the fruit
drop the (laughter)
