This is the most humorous and careless song I think that we've ever done

I mean, it depends on how far back in our material you go

But this song is called, "Dead As Fuck," and it is our quote-unquote horror punk song

Uh, massive, massive horror punk fan, you know

Obviously, Misfits are such a gigantic personal influence and

Uh, always wanted to write a song that was just the most not or the most unserious song possible

To just, just go for it and be entertaining and be fun and not care about, you know

Being so dark and serious and all that shit, all the time

So this song was written, uh, the music was written by me and Mick

Uh, just very, very electronic, very industrial metal, very just all over the place

Kind of whatever, there's the movie samples in it to give it a different atmosphere

And kind of help you just get acquainted with what the song is about

And uh, speaking of the song is about, uh

I, I based it sort of just, you know, another character song

I based it sort of around the Bride of Frankenstein story

Not ex-, not exactly, but I took her character

And wanted to make her the base of what I was talking about

I'm, I'm not gonna tell you, just, just go read the lyrics, they're pretty funny

Uh, this is Ricky's favorite song on the record, I think

It's my personal favorite on the entire record

Now why, why is that, why is that your favorite song, Rick? Tell us

I honestly don't know, it's the one song that I hear, and I'm, I just

I could never get sick of it, no matter how many times I hear it (yeah)

And this-this song rules, it's, it's just a fun song, you can't deny that (yeah)

You're just, you're either bobbing your head or smiling or laughing at the lyrics or whatever

So it's pretty straightforward

Uh, definitely excited that we were able to have, you know

Introduce a horror punk, horror punk aspect into the band that we never had before
