Rose wrote, and Blake Redferrin is a new artist on our record label
'Round Here Records and writes for our company Tree Vibes, and one
Of our favorite people. He's amazing, he's got a lot of great music
Comin' out here soon. And this song he turned in, and it became one
That we were all just listening to and just couldn't really get away
From, and it—you kinda know when a song you need to cut that you
You can't imagine letting it go, or if somebody else were to have it
You're kinda like—that's when you know there's like a certain
Ownership level that you're like, "Hey, that's probably FGL's," "
That's probably ours," or "Hey, we might be able to let that one go."
So for us, this one felt like, in a sense, a little throwback FGL but
Also fresh. So you know, that kinda play on "Countryside," it just
Resonates, and it felt like a song you can just put on and you don't
Have to worry about what genre it is. There's no overthinking it. If
It feels good and it sounds good, most times it is, and for this one
We didn't overthink it. We wanna give our f—our fans songs that
That'll make them think, and we wanna give them songs that will also
Make them wanna have a good time and crank it up and
