Testo Back at Mickey's House - Mickey Mouse
Testo della canzone Back at Mickey's House (Mickey Mouse), tratta dall'album Songs and Story: Mickey's Christmas Around the World
The sky was starting to get light as Santa's reindeer pulled up
In front of my house. Well, ha-ha, thanks for the lift, Santa
Ho-ho-ho-ho! Merry Christmas! Dash away
Dash away, dash away all! Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho!
When we went inside, Morty and Ferdy were just waking up. Pretty soon
Minnie, Uncle Scrooge, Grandma Duck, and the whole gang arrived
For Christmas breakfast. And then it was time to open the presents
Hey, Mickey, look! Remember that special
Package that was up in front of Santa's sleigh?
Hmm? Oh, yeah! Oh my gosh, we forgot to deliver it, didn't we?
Well, isn't that it right there?
Gee, what's it doing here?
Hmm, it's got your name on it
It does?
Yup, and it says it's from Santa
I wonder... Gee, how did...
Open it up! Let's see what it is!
Wow! Ho-ho, boy! Look, everybody, it's a painting. Children from all
Over the world joining hands. Aw, gosh, this is
Swell. This will be something extra special to
Remind us about everything we saw last night
Woof, woof, woof!
Oh, look, there's a card with the package
Dear Mickey, I hope you will share the spirit of this painting
With all your friends. Even though people's clothes and customs
And ways of speaking may be different, we all belong to the same
Big family. We share the same hopes and dreams that each Christmas
Will bring peace on Earth to everyone all year long. Love, Santa
You know, Goofy, every time I look at that
Painting, I remember our travels with Santa
Uh-huh, and how to say "Merry Christmas" in
Hindustani. Eid Mubarak! I did it! Ho-ho-ho-ho!
Gosh, what a swell adventure
Yeah, except I never did get to tell
Santa what I wanted for Christmas
Yeah, what did you want, Goofy?
Gee, I'd kind of like to have an elephant for Christmas
An elephant? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Well, ha, there's always next Christmas
You know. Ha-ha. We've heard songs from all over the world. Hey
How about singing one of our favorites for our friends listening?
Yeah
