Testo 20/20 Intro - Trip Lee
Testo della canzone 20/20 Intro (Trip Lee), tratta dall'album 20/20
What's good, ladies and gentlemen? (Ladies and gentlemen)
Those seekin' the answers of life (answers of life)
Those with an ear to hear (it's time to get your vision right)
And all my brothers and sisters in the household of faith (it's time to get your vision right)
(It's time to get your vision right) I welcome you to 2020
(It's time to get your vision right) time to see through the right lenses
Open the mirrors up, bro, we 'bout to put you on
This somethin' special to bless you, I hope it's hittin' home
I know you skeptical, bet you just tryin' to fit the song
You used the difference between bad women and livin' wrong
But what you know about the Lord? (We tryin' to see Him clear)
How to appease Him and please Him? How can we keep Him near?
How can we know Him, but hold Him and show Him we sincere?
Is He opposed to you posin', smokin', and drinkin' beer?
I'm hopin' we prepare, we 'bout to take a trip
I point you to the Livin' Water, homie, take a sip
Go to the pool, this alone, go on and take a dip
Come back with vision, it's given by Him, we made a switch
Though we would coast Him, His enemies would cross Him
He called and was droppin' their knowledge like books fallin'
Dallas to New Orleans, Philly to every city
Vision is thick and blurry, we gotta see 2020
Got ears but don't hear, got eyes but don't see
How God we don't feel, these rhymes are so weak
Can't be cuffin' to the mind that God is holy
Our lives are so weak, but God is so He
Yeah, He's perfect and flawless, He stands as the standard
His stance is grand, understand that He stands up
Always upright, we got a chance, it's the ransom
He paid at the cross, now let's find us some answers
What, what kind of God would take some dudes and hand them
Eternal life for free through the grace that He grants them?
By faith, we've been changed, used to roll, let's expose
But He rose, and He chose, now we closed and it's closed
It's kinda crazy, we all had visions of gettin' dough
He changed our character like an actor who's switchin' roles
This is the test of our best of God that we're livin' for
And I'm just hopin' this album will help you get to know
