But when we heard this song we had to put our pride down
And we said "Yes, we have to" because
There was something about it, we all kind of separately
Were like "Man, I mean, this could be something"

Had a little bit of almost like an American Honey type feel to it

Trying to like wrap my head around what it was like
It just had that sort of organic country thing

The melody on the chorus killed me
I remember the first time I heard it
I mean the harmonies with that chorus, so much fun to sing
And I just feel like when we got in
There and sang it just around your guitar
It was like, that's when we know it's
Time to cut a song we didn't write
When it feels like we wrote it when we sing it together
And that harmony blend, it just felt very much
Like in the center of what we do as Lady A
I just love that song so much
