Testo The System - Mac
Testo della canzone The System (Mac), tratta dall'album 32
Sometimes i feel I've said all i can say
Like i swear I wrote that bar but in a different way
Contemplating quitting just to take off the strain
Cause the music that is blowing ain't good for my brain
Wicked and Badd was a success but i didn't push
Strong Friend had a message but was under looked
Wood keeps getting new listeners on a daily
And Backshot is just there but it still pays me
But the music i enjoy doesn't get the veiws
And I ain't making Dancehall no more I've got a point to prove
Cause if you fuck with the music you should fuck with this
Writing raps for over 20 years i never lost the grip
The only thing i lost was motivation
Writers block had me feeling caged in
That was the birth of the myth
But the music reminds the world that i still exist
When my tracks are getting played over seas
Never thought they would make me Ps
But i no longer write a track with ease
It's like i go to pen a verse and my brain will just freeze
I been tryna find a way to break the cycle
Cause for my mental its vital
I've been tryna be creative for a hot sec
I'm getting there slowly but lemme just take these baby steps
I'm just tryna find a way out of the system yeah
Feeling like I'm trapped in my brain sitting alone going insane
Yeah
I'm just tryna find a way out of the system
Yeah
I'm just tryna find a way out of the system yeah
Feeling like I'm trapped in my brain sitting alone going insane
Yeah
I'm just tryna find a way out of the system
Yeah
