Testo Garth Hudson - Javelin

Testo della canzone Garth Hudson (Javelin), tratta dall'album Hi Beams (Commentary Version)

Garth Hudson is of course named after the keyboardist

From the band, um, who we revere and love very dearly

And, uh, I was living in upstate New York at the time and I

Actually started, uh, the track from a sample from this, uh

Record that George collected in Mexico in like 2007 or something

So that was me chopping up the Mexican record on an MPC3000 which

I had purchased at Main Drag Music in Brooklyn like shortly before

I think it, this was one of the first things I'd made on it

And um, the rest of the keyboards and everything were

Inspired by Garth Hudson, uh, from the band

Particularly his keyboard line from the song "In a Station"

My goal with this commentary was to make it longer than the

Actual track itself which clocks in at 1 minute 12 seconds
