We wrote like four songs the last week of tour at the end of December
This past year. And that was one with Angelo, that was his title
He just kinda said, "Hey, man, Demolition Man." We were like, "
Alright, sure, yeah, that's cool, that sounds badass." You know, so
You gotta figure out what it is. And then that's kinda, I guess it
Ended up, I don't think we were consciously doing it, but it's sorta
That same thing where it's that trick of how do you get the girl in
There, you know. And I'd record that riff that morning, I just played
It back on the speakers. I said, "Oh, I did this this morning." We
Started listenin', "Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Hey." You know, Angelo kinda, you know, I think he might even be
Like, "Let me be your demolition man." And we were like, "Hell yeah
" And I remember that one, the pre-chorus we had as the chorus until
We realized it just needed more lines. And so we kind of ended up
Adding, that song kept adding lyric to it, even though it's a pretty
Simple song. For a minute, it didn't really have the chorus it ended
Up with. Um, but I like that one. It's just, it's a really, it's
Got a drivin' thing to it that we don't really have. And it is a
Little different. It fits really well with American Slang, I think
On the album too. And the video's rad. Yeah, that's the best video
We've ever done. Yeah, Mario Brothers video. It's very cool. I just
I mean, to me, it just sort of felt like the type of love song I
Would expect from The Cadillac Three if I was gonna listen to one
So it was awesome. The video won't be what you expect. Okay, well
